How has it become a normalizing tendency that, we, in this case Greeks, must identify ourselves as Nationalists of the State and get down on our knees and thank the Lord IMF and the Great Leaders of the EU in their overarching wisdom for setting us on the path to righteousness?
Today on a radio program called, World Have Your Say, the topic was how grateful should the Greek people be? According to most people who spoke, the Greeks are not grateful at all and it is wrong.
I’m still in shock over the program. Did I sleep for a number of years and miss this part where we all became Nationalists? Whatever happened to slackers and deadheads and potheads or just intellectuals who cannot tolerate the fact that the Military budget calls for 1 1/2 billion $ a day.
I guess it was a clever design, but those who didn’t want to participate in the destruction of life, known as becoming Middle Class, found themselves suddenly tied to Wall Street. What a Horror! This would be called the Ideological State Apparatus.
Should Greeks be grateful? Let me suggest appropriate ways to show their appreciation. Burn down the banks!! Catch MP’s and have them gouge out their eyes as true heroes of the state would do. How about just taking over the Government, hanging the bankers and declaring a Government of the People.
